Efficient heat pump

Up to $6,720 rebate on on purchasing and installing your efficient heat pump.

To qualify for LogisVert financial assistance from Hydro-Québec, you must meet all program requirements.

High-efficiency heat pump

Up to $7,840 rebate on purchasing and installing your high-efficiency heat pump.

You must meet all program requirements to take advantage of this financial assistance, which represents a rebate of up to $140 per 1,000 BTU/h at -8°C on the purchase and installation of an high-efficiency heat pump.

The 6 steps to enroll in Hydro-Québec’s LogisVert program

Eligible person Efficient heat pump and High-efficiency heat pump:

Owner of an eligible home.

Ineligible work Efficient heat pump and High-efficiency heat pump:

Installation of indoor units, including the air distribution system, outside the insulation plan, i.e. outside living spaces (e.g. in the attic).
Replacement of a single indoor or outdoor coil or unit.
Replacement of a heat pump following a warranty or non-warranty failure.

Prepare the documents you need to apply for a LogisVert grant.

Required documents and information

Proof of ownership
Proof of purchase and installation
Photo

Make sure you submit all the required documents, and that they contain all the information requested.

Proof of ownership:
Electronic copy of property tax statement (municipal tax account) OR first page of deed of sale (title deed).

If you are a member of an indigenous community, you must provide a copy of the electricity bill in the name of the person applying for financial assistance, or a copy of the letter confirming ownership signed by a band council representative.

Proof of purchase and installation:
Electronic copy of the invoice(s) certifying the purchase of the eligible efficient heat pump and the installation work. The following information must be included:

invoice number and date;
installation date;
customer’s name;
installation address of eligible efficient heat pump;
company name;
GST and QST numbers;
RBQ license number of the company performing the installation work;
description of product and eligible work;
AHRI number;
heat pump serial number;
work cost.

Create your participation and application profile online.

To create or access your participation profile, visit the program portal at https://logisvert.ca/mesures-clientele-residentielle.

From your profile, complete the online application form for financial assistance per eligible home and provide the required supporting documents.

Billing information must show that the bills have been paid.

Applications for financial assistance submitted by e-mail or regular mail will not be processed.

Hydro-Québec will assess your request for financial assistance and measures related to Relevé 27.

You can track the status of your application in your participation profile.
If your application for financial assistance is incomplete or ineligible, Hydro-Québec will notify you by e-mail or telephone within approximately twenty business days of receipt.
The processing time is ten to twelve weeks and is calculated from the compliance check described under step 3 of this guide.

Relevé 27 – Government payments
Hydro-Québec must produce a Relevé 27 – Government payments if the person, company, or partnership receives financial assistance for the operation of a business or property. An owner is deemed to earn income on the property of all apartments he or she does not live in.

To obtain financial assistance and so that Hydro-Québec can produce your Relevé 27, one of the following pieces of information is required:

Québec business number (NEQ),
QST number, or
Social insurance number (SIN).

Social insurance number (SIN)
To protect your personal information, you will receive an e-mail from Hydro-Québec with instructions on how to submit your SIN securely. A notification inviting you to consult your participation profile will be sent to you by e-mail once the eligibility of your application has been confirmed.

Financial assistance payment

If your application is deemed eligible and all required information has been provided, your file automatically qualifies as complete, and the payment process begins. You will receive your financial assistance by mail to the address you provided on your application form.

Please notify LogisVert program support at 1 833 396-1888 of any address changes.

Incomplete applications may take up to twelve weeks to process.
